Takenoko Oyako invites you to tend an imperial bamboo garden under the watchful eyes of a hungry panda and its panda partner. Players plant hexagonal bamboo plots in green, yellow, and pink, lay irrigation channels, and grow bamboo shoots while managing the panda’s appetite. On each turn, you take two actions (or three with favorable weather) such as placing plots, irrigating land, moving the gardener to grow bamboo, moving the panda to feast, or drawing objective cards. Objective cards fall into three categories—plot layout, bamboo growth, and panda feeding and completing them earns points. The game ends when a player meets the required number of completed objective cards, triggering a final round. With its charming theme and simple rules, Takenoko Oyako blends peaceful strategy with delightful visuals, making it perfect for families and light gamers.
